Declan May lives in Belfast, UK and has written scripts for several BBC television comedy shows including LOL (BBC Northern Ireland), Sketchy with Diarmuid Corr (Green Inc/BBC NI), the most recent being Monumental with Adam Hills and Andrew Maxwell (6 episodes debuting January 2013, 10:35 BBC One) and is currently developing a script for a biopic of Dirk Bogarde a long term passion-project, which he hopes will be completed by May 2013. He is also developing the scripts for a TV adventure/fantasy project Gulliver, based on ‘Gullivers Travels’, and co-writer on three screenplays in various stages of development. He is currently working on several TV and Radio comedy projects debuting in 2013/14
Declan has also worked extensivley as a freelance writer in the UK and France and has provided English language adapatations for dubs and subtitles for several French films and TV Series including Asterix et Obelix:Jeux Olympiques , Camera Cafe as well as English dialogue sequences for the TV series Meme Age Meme Adresse
